I guess all of you knew how JYJ started to tweet. It was Yoochun who caused a stir in Twit-world when he created a Twitter account with a genius work on his name. 6002theMicky. In Korean, 6 sounds ‘yuk’, 1000 sounds ‘cheon’ and 2 sounds ‘i’. So put them together and you will get ‘yukcheoni’ or rather Yoochunnie. How much I love this dork yet smart guy?

He was followed by my heart throb, Jaejoong with an account name of ‘mjjeje’. Seriously, I have no idea what his account name means. Anyone had broke the code yet? Share with me. And finally, our adorable Junsu with an account name ‘xiahtic0101’ which is quite obvious. I was only wondering why Junsu chose his registered birth date instead his real one.

I was expecting Jaejoong to be the first one to step into Twit-world because he had used Twitter in his J-drama, Sunao Ni Narenakute. He seemed like a Twitter expert in that drama but in real life, he’s more like a beginner. Junsu made us aww-ed when he was confused about how to tweet someone without others reading it. Later, his cousin helped him by telling him to send a Direct Message.

JYJ shared their experiences in New York and Las Vegas which made us felt that we were with them all the time. They were energized by the number of fans that turned up for their showcases in a land that they never performed before. And sometimes they went crazy a bit too. Jaejoong sometime tweets sill things that make me feel that he’s a normal after all.

Recently, Yoochun was ‘attacked’ by fans that tweeted something about Yoochun’s tweets when he was in Las Vegas. He left a tweet that says “Should I leave Twitter?” Jaejoong tweeted seconds later that he’s going to Yoochun’s room and afterwards, he tweeted that Yoochun is okay. So Jaejoong comforted his soulmate. Sweet~

That gave me a chill because I can’t imagine my online life without seeing the boys tweeting now that I’m used to that. I’m even looking forward for my exam to over so that I can stay online in Twitter and reply JYJ’s tweets although there are chances that they won’t read it. So please don’t quit Twitter,JYJ~

Ever heard of Tohosomnia Forums? It’s like one of the coolest DBSK forums out there. I’ve registered in many forums and yet I’m most active in Tohosomnia (but not at the moment because I’m on hiatus). So Tohosomnia have the lively shout box where members always initiate the conversations and most of the time, it’s about the boys. Who don’t love spazzing about the boys anyway? The shout box ‘dies’ sometimes but believe me that once people start chatting in it, you will know why I’m saying the shout box is one of Tohosomnia Forum’s specialty. Next is all about the administration. Admins used to be active in shout box but now you can’t see them that often. No wonder that it is such an updated and cool forum because the admins put their effort in order to maintain a nice environment for the members.

I must admit that without the translators, the forum is nothing! They work hard so that we, the members can read a much more reliable updates. Jeelim is a Korean who is currently lives in Dubai and she’s the perfect candidate to translate Korean articles to English. And we have Mandasoh, Cherie, Monica and Rara for Japanese translations. I’m sorry if I left out any other translator’s name. The recent fun was on Twitter. You can get the translation of what the boys tweeted no matter in Japanese or Korean within seconds. I trust them with all my heart.

Graphic designers always stun us with their amazing works. If I’m not mistaken, Tohosomnia Forums’s DBSK 6th Anniversary banner made by one of the graphic designer was used in DNBN. I love that banner too. Their current background is made of my all time favourite photos of DBSK. I love the platinum blonde Jaejoong in it. He’s a GOD(dess)~

The members are the highlights. Since this is an international forum, you can see fans from all over the place. I felt a bit awkward at the beginning and won’t join them in shout box. But once I get to know them, they are crazily fun! You gotta believe me. So I used to spend hours in Tohosomnia Forums simply because of the fun in spazzing about the boys. We have fruit nicknames, animal names and MMP (You will have to ask around to know what that means. They will kill me if I say about that in here). Tohosomniacs or Tohosomnians are friendly, warm, nice and hilarious!

So my word is that you should go and register yourself in this forum if you are not a member and explore this wonderful forum. Nothing beats a heaven where you can share your love for DBSK with amazing Cassiopeias.

P/S: I wasn’t paid by Tohosomnia Forums to write about their forums. This is genuinely from my heart. I’m a Tohosomnia Forum Lover ^_*

JYJ is on Twitter! How better my online life could be? Too bad that my exam is just less than 10 days away so I can’t ‘stalk’ them online. But I’m receiving updates in my phone which is always tempting enough for me to go online. These boys are having fun in Twitter and that delights the fans most. They are just the ordinary people that wake up and tweets about their cats, tweets about their composing-songs process and tweets about staying awake late in the night. There was once where we have to trend #jaejoongshouldsleepalready in order to make Jaejoong stop tweeting and get some rest. What causes sensation in Twitter not so long ago was when both Jaejoong and Junsu uploaded their semi-naked photos on Twitter. And also when Jaejoong asked his followers to learn Korean. We are more than glad to follow them at least on Twitter because it’s is the only personal channel to send our messages to the boys. The fans expressed their worry for Yoochun when he was hospitalized for his fatigue because of his Korean drama,SungKyunWan Scandal and The Beginning album showcases. Not to forget Jaejoong and Junsu appeared so cute when they showed some epic fail in using Twitter.

All these make me realized how much DBSK means to me and days without thinking about them is like a life in hell.

JYJ had rocked New York City for their The Beginning album showcase. What touches each and every single fan is that JYJ paid for the showcase using their own money therefore, the showcase is free for anyone. This was done by JYJ in order to keep their promises to their fans. JYJ have some problems with their visas and with a condition saying that the showcase must be free, JYJ decided to use their own money for the reason that the show must go on. And whether it’s free or not, more than 6000 fans showed up to support our boys. That is a BIG number of fans for artists that never perform in that land. Now, that’s what we call as DBSK and Cassiopeia power. DBSK is a global artist. They are famous in their homeland, conquered Japan and eventually every part of the world. This is the true Hallyu Wave but Korean media seems to forget that. If SNSD’s Gee was ranked in Oricon daily chart is the proof of Korean Hallyu Wave, how about JYJ’s The Beginning album that was in America’s Billboard chart? I’m on glee that my boys are unbeatable by any newcomers in Korean music industry. No offence to other idol group’s fans. Face it. TVXQ is definitely unbeatable. They showed respect for their seniors and remained humble although swept off most of the major awards for their ‘O’ Jung.Ban.Hap album back in 2006. Remember Jaejoong told us that after received all the Grand Awards in 2006, they have to return to Japan to do some promotional activities where their stage was in a university’s hall? Their down-to-earth attitude is what made TVXQ is invincible.

Here are a few things about new idol groups that I found weird and not-so-pleasant in MY eyes.

1. Too many idol groups until you have a hard time to recognize which member belongs to which group. The number of the members is also a big concern. It’s no longer trio or duo but six or seven! The logic is simple. When there are too many members, they don’t get a chance to portray their talent in singing as their parts are limited. That shouldn’t happen because they are SINGERS!

2. Off the field works like in variety shows. Singers sing. That is like ABC of music industry. But as you may have noticed, more rookie idol group members start to appear in variety shows to promote their groups. I only watch KBSWorld and this trend is a hit. KBS had started a show just for the girl band members (Invincible Youth) where 7 girls spend some quality time together by doing farm works. And I used to watch Let’s Go Dream Team Season 2 where Minho (SHINee), Danny An (g.o.d) and Eunhyuk (Super Junior) were in it. They were like the aces of the team and every week I anticipate their performances. But now, I don’t see them anymore. Great dismay for me and I stopped watching it. And if you are in K-Pop world for quite a long time, you sure knew about most of the Super Junior members have other professions other than being a member of SuJu. Siwon acts, Yesung does musicals and Heechul is a radio jockey. I really don’t know why they are in a band when they don’t hang out and create songs together. Another example to that ‘culture’ is Big Bang. They are in Big Bang but the members released solo albums. Why bother to be in a group when you don’t sing together?

3. The quality of the songs. I’m just commenting on their trend in K-Pop music industry. No offence. If I’m not mistaken, SNSD’s Gee sets the trend of creating songs with repetitive lyrics and catchy dance moves. Songs like BoBeep (T-ara), Heartbeat (2PM), RingDingDong (SHINee) and Bingeul Bingeul (U-Kiss) all have that trend. Hello? Wake up! You are not creating children songs to make it easier to remember with repeating the same part again and again. I can memorize DBSK’s Hug which has different parts for each of them. It’s not hard. Believe me as it comes from a non-Korean’s mouth.

4. Step up! Take your time and make good songs with your fellow band mates and then make your comeback with an ALBUM. Not with a single. I’m puzzled of why artists nowadays like to release a single, then a re-packaged album and finally a full album. I watched KBSW’s Entertainment Weekly last week and they featured coverage on number of hits that topped their Music Bank charts for 43 weeks. Only SNSD’s Genie was on top for 5 weeks consecutively. After that, a NEW song for every week. People’s taste changes as more songs are released at the same time.

I’m not bashing other artists. I still like to listen to non-DBSK songs like Love You More Than Yesterday by Kim JongKook, some of Lee Seunggi’s songs, FT Island and CNBlue. I love those artists that rely on their abilities in singing rather than those who promotes themselves as beast idols or sexy idols.

Attention!

From now on, ignore the previous non-DBSK posts because this will be solely a DBSK blog.

The purpose of this blog is to house my fanfics and my personal opinions on DongBang news. Leave a comment especially after you read my fanfics. I really need support from my readers in order to write more fanfics.

I had posted several fanfics of mine in several sites. Winglin, AsianFanfics and even in LiveJournal. The only problem is that it always struck me that my language sucks in some of the fics and eventually stop working on it. Remember, English is only my second language. I’m trying my best to improve it. In all those sites I had mentioned above, I used ‘anthra_JJ’ as my author name. So the next time you come across that name, you know it’s my work.

I will post one or two of my earliest works which I will edit for sure before posting it here. And after I’m done with it, I will post my new stories. So look for it ^__^

Any questions, tweet it to me.
